Even as employers shift more health costs to their workers, some bosses do worry about what happens when employees don t get adequate care.It s not necessarily altruism. Sick employees miss more work. What health conditions are most likely to lead to absences? The answers may not be obvious. In a list of common conditions and behaviors contained in a forthcoming survey by the HR consulting firm Watson Wyatt Worldwide, the one with the biggest share of folks missing 10 or more days of work in the last year was heart disease 30%.
