Traders Boost Bayer on Pfizer Deal Speculation

Bayer shares are up more than 4% in Europe on rumors that Pfizer is eyeing the German company for purchase. There s speculation in the market today that Pfizer may bid for Bayer, Manfred Groeschel, an equity trader at Merck Finck & Co. in Munich, told Bloomberg.
