Q. I am wondering how to calculate the nutritional content of home-made vegetable juices. For example, I made a day's worth of juice using 4 lbs of green leafy vegetables, plus a variety of other vegetables in my juicer. How do you suggest juices be analyzed? A. That s a tough one. Some of nutrients are going to be left behind in the pulp (which is mostly fiber). But exactly how much is left behind depends on which nutrients, where they are found in the fruit (i.e, flesh or skin), and what kind of juicer you use.
