It's Presidential politics time, so here's something to think about: the threat to the health of women. In my early medical career I spent some time running down to emergency rooms to meet women bleeding out from botched illegal abortions. That wasn't so long ago, although most people have no idea what those days were like. I worry that under a McCain presidency they'll get a chance to find out.
