Diabetes Doubles Liver Cancer Risk for Patients With Advanced Hepatitis C

May 29, 2008 (EurekAlert) - Patients who have chronic hepatitis C with advanced fibrosis have twice the risk of developing liver cancer if they also have diabetes.
